Still Job Hunting

Okay, so the first month in the Twin Cities was more of a laid back entry into the states. Now that era has passed, if I can even call it that, there is more urgency to obtaining a job since I signed a lease with my girl Kim. Being in our own place will be such an amazing thing, especially since we continue at the moment to live-out-of-a-suitcase, literally. This thing of staying with our parents, trekking back and forth from their basements, has been an ordeal to say the least. Yes, some may say, "Well think of all the money you're saving." That's not the point...sometimes it's nice to have privacy and not have to communicate about everything with your parents. For those who do live with their parents and like it, good for you. It's just not for me. And for those who want to move out, all I can say is this: there's hope. Don't get me wrong, that's not to say that I don't appreciate talking with my parents and parents in-law...I simply enjoy having a place to call my own, play music when I want and stay out when I want. Sounds as if I'm a teenager, which would be fine and all, but I'm past that stage in life and in my late twenties. Hey, and I also thank them for all that they have done and have a great appreciation for it and will continue to forever. May seem cheesy or cliché, although it's true, every bit of it.
